This Ashrama was established in 1948 and had been running its activities in the name and style of “Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Raiganj". Thereafter, in September 2020 the Ashrama came under the aegis of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math and from then on it has been rendering its philanthropic service in the name and style of “Ramakrishna Mission, Raiganj" (a branch centre of Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math). Address of this Ashrama is “Ramakrishna Mission, Ukilpara, P.O – Raiganj, Dist – Uttar Dinajpur, W.B. – 733134".
The Ashrama had been built by the local devotees under the inspiration of Revered Swami Gadadhranandaji Maharaj. By dint of the financial support of the benevolent devotees, in 2016 a spectacular temple of Sri Sri Thakur, Sri Maa and Swamiji was built-up. This new temple was inaugurated by Most Revered Swami Shivamayanandaji Maharaj.
